What is a muse?
A muse is defined in two ways. A muse is a goddess, one of nine who presided over the arts. A muse is also a person who is the source of inspiration for an artist.
And YOU, my friends ... you are both.
Women are magnificent creatures, but too often, we lose sight of ourselves. I know I did. Women deserve to feel special and beautiful. We spend all day covering up (both our bodies and our feelings).Having a way to be free and vulnerable in a safe space -- that's priceless.
That is why my services are focused entirely on women. In a world that tries its best to make us uncomfortable, it's a breath of fresh air to have a space just for us đź’•
The Muse Philosophy
Four times a year, Muse will offer Quickies. These sessions will include:
- Professional makeup (hair not included)
- Digital files
- 45 minute session in predetermined location
The Quickies will be offered at $750.
(If you are a previous or current Benfield Photography wedding client, a Quickie session will be $500)

For every session, a $250 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your date. That fee goes toward the total cost of your chosen package.
The all-inclusive boudoir packages start at $1500.

01. Investment
Ready to book?
After contacting me, I'll reach out to talk about your dream for the shoot and ask that you fill out a short, but detailed Client Questionnaire. That will help me gauge your aesthetic vision for location, lighting, outfits, and more. We'll then collaborate to choose the best location to fit your vision.
On the day of your shoot, you can expect:
- Full access to the size-inclusive Boudoir Client Closet
- Your favorite music playing (smooth jazz? boy bands? gangster rap? I got you. Judgment free zone)
- Water + Coffee + Bubbles
- (for indoor shoots) Temperature set to your preference
Of course! Feel free to bring a friend, sister, mom, or other hype girl. We just ask that you reserve your cheerleading section to women only. Sometimes it can feel awkward posing in front of other people, so if you plan to bring someone, just make sure it's someone who doesn't mind if you let your freak flag fly! Your friend(s) cannot take pictures with their phone or your phone. Please let me know if you plan on bringing someone!
What is the experience like?
Full boudoir packages include access to the size-inclusive Muse Client Closet, but if you have something in mind, please feel free to bring it. I'm also more than happy to assist and help find pieces that will make you feel your best. We've shot football jerseys, lace, satin, their significant other's button downs and ties, long nightgowns, buckles and chokers, and birthday suits. You are the captain of this ship. We respect your comfort level, no matter where it is.
If you book a Quickie session, you'll need to bring 2-3 outfits. The Quickie sessions do not include access to the Muse Client Closet.
Do I need to bring outfits or lingerie?
My #1 goal is to make you feel as confident and beautiful as possible. I love to lightly smooth skin, but I am open to as much or as little editing as you’d like. Just keep in mind, you are beautiful as you are, and over-editing may take away from the intention of the experience.
Do you photoshop my pictures?
You’ll have a sneak peek of images by the day after your shoot. You’ll receive final images within a week. The digital turnaround is 1-2 weeks post-shoot. The physical product turnaround is 2-3 weeks after that. We pride ourselves on efficiency. We don't want to make you wait six weeks to see pictures you've waited your entire life to take!
What is the turn around time?
You are in complete control of whether all, a few, or none of your photos are shared. I respect your privacy and autonomy above anything and always want you to feel confident, comfortable and safe. I require a signed consent form regarding your sharing preferences prior to beginning the shoot. If you are not comfortable sharing your photos, I will not share them. Period.

Can I bring a friend?
After a particularly hard divorce, I needed a hard reset. I knew I'd be dating for the first time in a decade and my elf-confidence had taken a hit. I booked the shoot to see if I could regain some of my self-confidence. I was nervous in the beginning, but Tyler set me at ease so quickly (the champagne she brought helped too). I love the images. When I see them, the remind me of a time in my life when I was knocked down, but came back better than ever.
I booked a boudoir session for no one but myself. I wasn't getting married, having kids, turning thirty. Nothing especially "celebration-worthy" ... just wanting to feel powerful. I am a dancer and hyper-aware of my body movement, and I'm thankful that Tyler trusted me to move on my own. The pictures make me look relaxed and badass!
I was a bridal client and had never done anything like this before. To say I was nervous would be such an understatement!! Tyler explained everything so well, from weighing in on my wardrobe decisions to physically posing for me before our shots to show me how on little pop of the butt changes the entire picture. My husband LOVED the pictures and I'm so happy I didn't chicken out!!
